Three boys teams from WSA have been selected from a competitive pool of teams from around the globe to compete at the 2018 International Dallas Cup.  Dallas Cup has long been recognized as one of the world's most prestigious boys youth soccer tournaments.

It marks the third year in a row a team from WSA has been selected.  In 2016 the WSA 00 Boys White team coached by Ryan Bush, reached the quarterfinal stage of the tournament before being ousted by Frankfurt Germany who went on to easily win the 15U Boys Championship.  Last year WSA 01 Boys White, coached by Alex McLaurin advanced to the round of 16, before falling to the MLS Houston Dynamo Development Academy team, while the Bush led 00 Boys White went undefeated but went out on goal difference.

Both WSA 01 Boys White and WSA 00 Boys White have been selected to participate again, while the WSA 04 Boys Black team will join their older club mates this year.  The tournament runs March 25 thru April 1.  The Side's teams begin making the short trek to Dallas this weekend.  Opening ceremonies will take place Sunday, March 25 and opening round games begin Monday, March 26th (check Twitter feed @SoccerWSA for updates).

The Dallas Cup is recognized world wide as one of the most prestigious youth soccer tournaments.  The event is regularly marked by youth teams from world-renowned professional clubs around the globe.  This year clubs such as Arsenal, Manchest United, FC Dallas, and Tigres will participate!

WSA is proud of our 14U, 17U, and 18U teams who have been selected for this year's event.  We know it will be great experience for all of the players, coaches, and families involved.  All the best.  C'mon YOU SIDE!
