WHAT: 1st Annual Girls STEM Rally
WHO: WSA Girls Players ages 8-14
WHAT IS STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math
PURPOSE: Introduce girls to the idea of studying in the STEM field and considering career pathways in the STEM fields.
COORDINATOR: Kayla Foster, Missouri University of Science & Technology, Undergraduate, Chemical Engineering, Women's Varsity Soccer, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Delta Omicron Lambda. Kayla is a WSA alumn, playing for the WSA 98 Girls Red team which in 2017 reached the National Elite 8. Kayla currently is a rising Junior at Missouri S & T where she has started over 90% of the matches played her first two years.
WHY: This is who we are. MIA SAN MIA.

ITINERARY:
8:00 AM - Introduction from guest speakers, females working in the field, and current college students studying STEM. Learn about the speakers career paths. Learn what STEM means.
9:00 AM - Hands on Activities with types of experiments. Girls will ahve the chance to interact with our volunteers and ask any questions they may have!
10:30 AM - Closing remarks with time for girls to ask more questions.
11:00 AM - Girls are free to leave. But there is an option for a soccer "kick-around" until 12:00 p.m.
12:00 PM - Dismissal at Case Soccer Complex.
