Cost
per session for WSA players will be $5,
and this money will paid to the trainer and collected by the trainer. COST for
non-WSA players will be $10 per session.

There are two sessions available for players at two different
levels/age groups (Time/Date will be announced):
SESSION I:
Intermediate
Training
-- Intermediate
training focuses on the basics and fundamentals of goalkeeping, with a
tremendous emphasis on skill and technique development.
SESSION II:
Advanced Training -- Advanced
training incorporates higher level skill and techniques, i.e. power
diving, etc. with an inclusion of fitness and tactical aspects of
goalkeeping for the more advanced keeper.
Trainers:
Josh Isaacs joins the WSA
goalkeeper staff this Spring (2007). Josh played collegiately at the University
of Memphis, an NCAA-Division I program. He was a multiple state champion with
TSC 83 and a state finalist with WSA 83. Josh began his club career at WSA
before playing the middle part of his career at TSC and then capping off his
final club match in the state championship game for WSA 83. Josh set records
for Charles Page High School where he was named All-District, All-Conference,
and All-State while captaining the team. He has attended goalkeeper schools and
camps across the nation, including the Joe Machnik's # 1 Goalkeeper School.
Josh is known for his energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude as a player, and
he now offers those same qualities as a trainer. Josh currently plays amateur
soccer for a Men's D-I team. Please welcome Josh Isaacs to the WSA goalkeeper
training staff.
Please welcome
Terry Hall as he joins the WSA Goalkeeper coaching staff! Terry is
currently the head coach of the WSA 94 girls team (State Director's Cup
Champions, 2005). He played soccer on the West Coast, qualifying for the
national final four, winning two Far West Regional Championships, and several
state championships with his Arizona club
team. Terry was featured in Soccer America as one of the nation's top players
at age 15, and he owns the unique trademark of being the youngest player to
participate in nationals, playing as a 14 year old on his u16 squad (read
article). Terry was
also involved in State ODP in Arizona, and was a part of the regional and
national pool as a goalkeeper.
Please welcome
Greg Haney as he joins the WSA Goalkeeper coaching staff! Greg played
goalkeeper collegiately for Northeastern
State University and was a local high school standout player in Sand Springs.
Greg was regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the state of Oklahoma (in his
day) and has spent the past three years as a goalkeeper trainer working with
clubs such as TSC and Hurricane. He is the Memorial HS goalkeeper trainer, and
Greg currently plays men’s league in NEOASA and coaches for SSSC u8 recreational
program. Greg has over 30 years of competitive soccer playing and coaching
experience and currently serves as secretary for the SSSC Board of Directors.
