ABOUT THE TRAINERS

WSA Goalkeeper Training

THE PROGRAM

PROGRESSIVE The program is developmental and includes three primary training zones: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced.

ACCESSIBLE Training is offered twice per week in Tulsa, and on a monthly cycle at Ft Gibson, OKC, and Claremore for players from various community clubs. The club employs a minimum of 5 GK trainers at a time.  The trainers may travel with certain teams to events, or attend matches to make themselves available to players.

APPLICABLE Training must relate to match preparation and match play.  One night a week training is "match related" and scheduled to allow the goalkeeper to attend their team's field session the last 45 minutes, after attening a one-hour goalkeeper session.

INTENSE The goalkeeper position comes with high demands on the field of play.  Training is meant to reinforce this both mentally, physically, emotionally and pyschologically.
