EA Parents:

We were informed last week, the week of Nov 27, that game locations had moved for the EA boys trip to Austin.  This was after we had already reserved the original hotel, Tru By Hilton, 18700 Hill Top Commercial Dr, Pflugerville, TX 78660, and several of you had already booked at this hotel. 

After our hosting club changed facility locations it moved the distance from hotel to fields, farther than anticipated, see below:

• Distance to Charles Forbes Middle School, Saturday Games = 16 miles 
• Distance to George Wagner Middle School, Saturday Games = 15 miles 
   
• Distance to 2324 Bliss Spillar Road, Sunday Games = 37 miles 

You are welcome to keep your reservation at the original hotel.  This hotel's booking opportunity has expired.  If you wish to stay there you can contact your team leader and they will let club officials know.  We may be able to open more rooms at this location if there is a desire. 

PROCESS IF YOU WISH TO CHOOSE ANY OF THE TWO NEW LOCATIONS BELOW:
1A. If you already have reservations at the original hotel, Tru By Hilton, Contact the original hotel to cancel your reservations asap (sooner is better). 
2A. Expect a $10 cancelation fee. On Wednesday, Nov 29, I requested a list from team leaders of any teams who knew they would have families proceeding with cancelations. This was requested by Thursday, Nov 30, to attempt to alleviate any cancelation fee.  I did not receive any requests at that time.  Therefore, if any rooms booked at the original hotel are canceled, please expect a cancelation fee.  
3A. Book the below rooms by FRIDAY, DEC 8th, 12 PM using the links below. 

1B. If you do not have reservations at the original hotel, two options exist below.  Use the link to make your reservation.

The original hotel booking deadline for the group has expired.  The two hotels below are located closer to the fields, within 3-6 miles, and are much more expensive. 

We were asked shortly after learning that the game locations had changed, by your team leadership, to find additional hotels closer to both locations. This request was Tuesday last week.  Below are the locations that were found on short notice that had enough units to block for team stay.  These rates are outside of our target.   We proceeded to book these units, at these locations, to provide some flexibility in determining where your family will stay. 

We will have the SECOND ZOOM CALL with your team leadership in the coming days, to discuss the logistics, and practicality, as well as getting the feedback of for the club's continued participation in the EA, regarding travel, competition, and schedule.  Your feedback to your team's coach and/or manager will be delivered to club directors.
