WSA Roundrobin Friendlies Success;
70 Matches Played in Sweltering Temps
    The 12th annual WSA Roundrobin event was a huge success as 47 teams competed in over 70 mini matches on Saturday, August 5th, at the Rivercity Parks, home of WSA soccer.  The West Side Alliance S.C. was excited to host several of the states clubs in the friendly format, which was a roundrobin tournament sanctioned by US Club Soccer.
    Age division champions were crowned in 9 divisions, 70 matches were played, and everyone survived temperatures which soared above the triple digit mark.  Feedback from the event so far has been positive, and the WSA club hopes to continue this event in the future with the the purpose of "fun", "preparation", and "development".
    Special thanks to all of the referees who volunteered to work, all of the WSA staff who volunteered many man hours to prepare for the event, helping keep entry fees minimal, and all participants for your demonstration of sportsmanship, fair play, and goodwill.
    See the tournament section of this website for recognition of team champions.  If you would like your team picture to be posted please email the webmaster and we will post all championship team pictures.
    Best of luck to all roundrobin participants in the coming season!

WSA COE World Cup Crowns Wales, Portugal Champions
    The WSA Camp of Excellence 2nd session concluded this past week and it was the Portuguese, and some suspect tactics in front of goal, that lead to their country's World Cup Championship.  The week before in session one, it was Wales who brought home the trophy.
All together over 150 campers attended the 12th Annual WSA Camp  of Excellence, one of Tulsa's most popular, and truly unique soccer experiences.
