The annual WSA College Seminar night was well attended on February 24th.  Over 200 people showed up for the "phase I, promoting me" presentaiton.  The crowd was primarily the club's freshmen and sophomores.  The phase II presentation for Juniors will be held early summer.  Read more...

COLLEGE SEMINAR ATTRACTS 200 FRESH & SOPH

The annual WSA College Seminar was well attended this year, demonstrating the club's ongoing success at the college placement process.  Over 200 people turned out for the annual presentation which presented information on recruiting, scholarships, and college soccer life.  Ryan Bush and Roger Bush presented a brief summary of "key points", and then the floor was opened to questions for the 12-person panel.

Included in the panel were coaches and players from various universities, including 8 college coaches from ORU, RSU, NSU, Rose State and NEOSHO, representing both men's and women's programs, and 4 college soccer players, 2 men and 2 women from the programs at ORU. 

The next phase of the program involves a presenation of "focusing my search" to the WSA junior class which will take place early summer.
