WSA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WINTER SESSION INCLUDES:
(note: if you are a member of WSA Academy, please scroll down to the Academy Section - Academy and YDP are slightly different)

Indoor Training: 4 Indoor Sessions @ Case Community Center (mid-Jan thru mid-Feb, exact dates TBA)

Outdoor Training: 2 Saturday Sessions at Rivercity Parks

Games: Futsal Indoor League @ Case Community Center (8 games)

Dates: Mid-Jan thru Mid-Feb (check back later for exact dates)

COST: $50/player

SPACE IS LIMITED: REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED ON ROLLING BASIS UNTIL PROGRAM IS FULL

QUESTIONS:

What if space fills up? We will alert you, refund your payment in full, and offer first priority for Spring registration.

What if there are not enough players to form a team in my child’s division? We will alert you, make an effort to place your child on a team already formed, or refund your payment in full.  You will be given first priority for Spring registration.

Are there any other fees? Referee fees? Uniform fees?  No.

Can I Order a Uniform? Yes. A club uniform "tshirt jersey" will be available for $15. This is not mandatory.

What is FUTSAL? It is an "indoor" version of soccer, played on gym floor, with a slightly weighted ball, which forces players to focus on development of soccer specific skills. Click here to read more about the WSA Futsal League & Training Program.

WSA ACADEMY WINTER REGISTRATION

Parents:  The WSA 2012 Winter Academy Registration fee has been reduced for all age divisions as follows:

U9/U10 (03’s and 02’s): From $90/season to $50/2012 winter

U7/U8 (04’s and 05’s): From $75/season to $50/2012 winter
 

QUESTIONS

Why is there a winter fee?  This fee helps us pay for the ongoing maintence, operation, and function of the program.  Keep in mind this year academy "monthly" fees were eradicated.  You paid for the Fall Season ($75 u8’s and $90 u10’s) which ended November 5th.  We need to cover the associated fees of paying your coach, paying for facilities, insurance, club overhead, etc...through the winter months (December, January, February, March)

When is the Fee Due? Jan 9th is the deadline.  Although teams may collect this fee now and remit to the club.

Why have our fees been reduced so drastically this year? WSA has restructured programming and has decided to target your fees and expenses conversatively against our budget of expenses.  We are prepared to make up the difference by fundraising and we appreciate in advance your participation in our club fundraisers this Spring.  The good news: in 2011-2012 you received a BARGAIN of a price for soccer fees (can’t beat the WSA Academy prices anywhere in Oklahoma or this region of the country!).  Please keep in mind that after a year of budget history is created, we will expect parents to adjust to modified fees for 2012-2013. 

What are the "seasons" of play again? The seasons are summarized below:

Fall: August, September, October, November

Winter: November, December, January, February, March

Spring: March, April, May

Summer: June, July, August

What is offered in the 2012 Winter Soccer Session?

• Coach Oversight of your Indoor or Futsal League Play
  ** Note your team is responsible for this "event fee" (Soccer City Indoor Fee $700/team; WSA Futsal Fee $275/team)
   
• Indoor Training Sessions (Star Indoors) 4 sessions planned
   
• Dutch 4v4 Tournament Reduced Entry Fee @ Rivercity TBA
   
• Player Evaluation (Online Player Improvement Assessment performed by your coach)
   
• Ongoing training and instruction from your coach (but observance of the Holiday is expected - see below)

WHEN DO WE GET A BREAK FROM SOCCER?

WSA has asked all Academy Coaching Staff to observe a "soccer holiday" from November 15 thru January 6th.
