Edmond/Broken Arrow - WSA once again was one of Oklahoma's lead clubs at the annual season ending State Tournaments.  WSA had 18 different teams reach the final 4 stage of the event's 32 different divisions, while 4 teams punched tickets to US Southern Regionals, which appears to be the second most represented club (behind OFC) at USYSA Southern Regionals, and one team off to President's Cup Regionals. GREAT CLUB PERFORMANCE FOR WSA AT 2016 STATE CUPS
18 Teams Reach Final Four of State Tournaments; 4 Regional Bound Teams

WSA teams turned in yet another of the best overall club performances in Oklahomna at this year's State Tournaments.  While the final measuring stick for a club is not the final results of a tournament which can see games decided by a multitude of factors, The Side will celebrate representing Oklahoma as one of the dominant clubs at Regionals (minimum 4 Southern Regional tickets punched), and on 18 ocassions, The Side's teams reached the final four stage of the 32 different divisions contested in the Oklahoma State Tournaments this year.

In the midst of the medalist teams were several tremendous performances by WSA teams throughout the month long tournament, which culiminates in a season's worth of progress and development for players and teams.  The tournament's final stages were played at Edmond, and the home club, OFC, was the dominant representative in the last stages of the tournament and the dominant Regional represenatitve.  However, WSA may have been the second most represented team for Regional births, and among Oklahoma's top few clubs in total final 4 appearances.  It's a tremendous success for The Side, but it does not transcend the emobidment of work, process, journey, and character demonstrated by the WSA player.  Congratulations to all teams and all WSA players on an exceptional 2016 campaign.  All the best to the teams traveling to Regional Championship events this summer!
