CELEBRATE FEBRUARY CLUB CORE COMPETENCY: LOVE

Help The Side celebrate one of the club's core competencies in February, LOVE.

The WSA Badge has been worn over the heart of every WSA player since 1995.  The longest running most tradition rich mark now in Oklahoma soccer, was intentionally chosen RED to represent the color of blood, for family ties.  It is also worn over the heart of the player, intentionally meant to be a badge of courage, honor, and tradition, signifying the HEART of the people of The Side.

In the picture above the WSA 92 Boys have just scored a goal in the Eddie Ledesma Memorial Match, and in honoring their fallen teammate the team immediately sprints to a #17 EL mark on the corner of the field to remind all of the most important quality of the beautiful game - our fellowship with one another.  The back of the club's tshirts that year, "This is our brotherhood.  This is our sisterhood.  We are perfect because we love one another."
